As I sat down to write, my playlist was on Elliott Smith's Speed Trials, which is a song I'm very much into, but it was ruining the great mood I'm in so I had to change it to some Marley. We just ate dinner with my old science teacher and her husband, and it was great. They are the coolest folks, and Rose is very pregnant. 38 weeks, I think. She's only gained 25 lbs., and from behind she doesn't even look pregnant. I really doubt she'll have gained much of the customary baby weight after the kid is born. I'm just so excited for them, and Scott is a really, really fun guy. I like him a lot. He gave no back-pats on the hugs, so thumbs up there. (I despise the dismissive 'just-friends' back-pat. Though I do give it sometimes. Gah.) I got to feel the baby a little bit, mostly his or her foot.

Besides that, there's not much news, except I don't have to work at the Smiths' again until... after the Cape, maybe? That makes me happy in a way- there are quite a few extramonetary activities I'd like to pursue, but getting worn out in the days isn't helping me to accomplish a whole lot with my free time.

I'm going for a few errands right now, but maybe after I'll scan some stuff from photo and do a little photo-blogging. Yeah. I've been meaning to get a devianArt account for some time, now, too.
